Steps to Enroll in a Stand-Alone Prescription Drug Plan


  1. Click on the “Enroll Button

  2. In the “Find a Plan”  -  Input your Zip Code, Select your County, and Click See Plans and Prices;

  3. A box “Need Help Comparing Plans” will pop-up, Press “Skip”;

  4. You will see the “About You” Home page - there are 3 boxes across the top select “Medicare Part D plans”;

  5. At the top by “About You” click “Add Medications”;

  6. When the next page pops up, begin adding your drugs- 

    1. Type the first 3 letters of each drug. A list will pop-up select your drug;

    2. Select Your Dosage for the drug;

    3. Select how often you get this drug refilled (Ex. Every Month);

    4. Put the quantity per refill;

    5. Click “Add Drug”

    6. Repeat for Each Drug.

  7. Once you have finished adding your drugs, click “View Plans”;

  8. At the top of your page write down the personal code: _______________________

  9. Under Each Plan there is a blue “Details” if you are interested in that plan click it all details and cost of drugs will be listed;

  10. Once you have selected your plan, click the green “Enroll Button” by that plan.

  11. Input your information, you will need your Medicare Number.

  12. When you get to the payment information, if you want the monthly premium deducted from your social security check before you receive it monthly, please select this option. With this option it will be paid automatically to the company each month.
